Svoboda Park in Kuraby has a large modern playground, suited to a variety of age groups. Predominantly covered by shadesails and shaded by trees, the play equipment includes a flying fox, slides, climbing nets, toddler swings and a sway funand several other play structures. The interactive musical installation is a favourite for Brisbane Kids of all ages. The park is grassy and flat, with a soccer net and basketball court, and is located next to Multicap’s Kuraby Hub. . There’s also exercise equipment located within the gated park. Svoboda Park also has two large shelters, each with two tables, as well as three electric barbeques.
Imagination Factor
The variety of play equipment, different levels and landscaped gardens at Svoboda Park creates several different spaces to stretch imaginations. The little paths between play areas are perfect for adventures. The large, shady fig trees demand to be climbed by active Brisbane Kids keen to explore the jungle. The interactive musical area allows Brisbane kids to experiment with different sounds and music, both through instruments and discovering different pre-programmed sounds and musical pieces through the speakers, which are activated via different easy to press buttons.
Accessibility
Svoboda Park has accessible toilet facilities. There are many flat concrete paths and a bike path through the park, making it possible to access most parts via wheelchair or with a pram. The playground is fenced and partially covered by shadesails. The Sway Fun in the park is a great drawcard too. There is a generous-sized carpark including disabled parking spots, as well as street parking on Stiller Street.

We have been visiting from Sydney and found this park wonderful for my 2 girls, especially my 4 year old who has special needs and gets around with a walker, plenty of shade and although very popular on the weekends didn’t feel overcrowded with kids.

This park is so amazing and me and my sisters really like it there even though one is 9 and one is 1 and i am 12 but my mum takes us there and she says its good so i also think its good so i really like the park. 🙂
