Brisbane Powerhouse presents The Gizmo at the Brisbane Powerhouse during the Spring school holidays in October 2018.
The Gizmo
Fans of Paul Jennings will be excited these school holidays as the hillarious tale, The Gizmo, is brought to life on stage at the Brisbane Powerhouse.
Those already familiar with the story will know that The Gizmo tells the story of Stephen, who is baited by his hero Floggit into stealing at the local fair. Stephen steals the whirling, twirling illuminating Gizmo, which sends Stephen on an amazing adventure of self-discovery. Finding it impossible to get rid of the Gizmo, it starts to exact its revenge by placing Stephen in several extraordinary situations that are sure to have the audience roaring with laughter!
The cast of extremely talented and funny young Australian actors, Huw Jennings, Meg Spencer and Louis Reed, are very excited about heading to the Brisbane Powerhouse and performing for Brisbane Kids with a show that is just for families.
Reviews have said the show is hilarious from start to finish and that it has just the right amount of silliness and nonsense to make it appealing to all ages.
While The Gizmo is suitable for Brisbane Kids big and small, it is recommended for Brisbane Kids aged 6 years and over who, it is said, will find it the most fun and get lots of giggles.
