  • AboutBrisbane Kids Creative was created by me! Ngaire Stirling. I wont pretend to talk in the third person about myself, instead let me tell you a bit about me and how 110.232.142.129/~brisba22 came about. At the time the domain name 110.232.142.129/~brisba22 came up for purchase I was a stay at home mum in the middle of a degree centred around journalism and PR. a couple of years earlier I had been contemplating returning to my previous career in marketing management and for a while I even tried. 3 months into a new role and it was clear that I had no passion for my old life and to make the decision to quit easier, my almost 2 year old at the time was not coping with childcare. So, as a family we made the decision for me to return to becoming a stay at home mum. About 1 years later or so.. 110.232.142.129/~brisba22 came up for sale. My friends had often commented on my ability to know exactly what was happening in Brisbane for kids. I had my son enrolled in some awesome activities and we often visited some great destinations. I loved finding fun things for us to doโ€ฆ

Tucker Family Park in Brentwood Forest, Bellbird Park

Last Updated: September 11, 2024
Very long tube slide in an outdoor park

Featuring a junior activity centre, giant cube tower with massive slide, sports areas, not one but two dog off-leash areas and an outdoor gym, Bellbird Parkโ€™s Tucker Family Park is a state-of-the-art facility with something for all the family to enjoy!

Tucker Family Park Features

Comprising four key sections over one hectare โ€” a playground, multi-purpose sports park, dog parks and a fitness park โ€” Tucker Family Park has been designed for the whole family to get outside and active.

The playground

Towering over the park is the one-of-a-kind cube play tower where Brisbane Kids can spend hours exploring and having fun. The tower is 10-metres tall and features climbing structures to get from one cube block to the next, and windows to take in the expansive views across the tree tops.

There’s a small tube slide for kids to enjoy, and for those who make it right to the top, there’s the enormous, 18-metre tube slide back down. This is one of the biggest and most exciting slides we’ve seen in the area! For those not quite ready for such heights, there’s also plenty of other play equipment to enjoy.

You’ll find swings, a roundabout spinner, see-saw, and junior activity centre with its fort, mini climbing wall, rope bridge, slides, musical bar chimes, built-in games and rocker.

Sporting features

The park also features a partly-fenced grass pitch complete with goal post, perfect for a great game of rugby or soccer with friends. Plus there’s a fenced multi-purpose court for basketball and other games.

Closest to the road, you’ll discover an awesome, covered fitness park with a great range of static and dynamic exercise equipment. It even has its own accompanying app to help boost your exercise experience!

Walking Tracks

To top off all of these facilities, you’ll also find lots of sheltered picnic tables, a drinking fountain, and concrete pathways leading around the park and through the trees over to a dog off-leash park and separate puppy park. You can even keep going along the paths that link several local communities with hectares of natural green space.

Imagination Factor

Tucker Family Park is a great play space where kids can spend hours exploring and having fun. At the junior play space, younger kids can play shops, be adventure climbers, have games of naughts and crosses, and become mini Mozarts composing lovely melodies on the fun wind chimes. Older kids will love scaling the ‘tower of doom’, then zooming down the huge tube slide. Any budding sports players will also love filling the shoes of their favourite sports stars and reenacting great games on the court or field. There’s fun for all ages at this exciting new park!

Accessibility at Tucker Family Park

Tucker Family Park is not fenced, although the sports field is partially fenced and the multi-purpose court is enclosed. The playground is set over several levels, so little kids you may worry about near steep drops will need careful supervision. The separate areas are connected by winding concrete pathways, making the different sections of the park more accessible. The bike and walking paths also lead to other areas nearby and are suited to wheelchair and pram use. Shade sails shelter the fitness park and some playground sections. Covered picnic shelters and drinking water fountains are available for public use, but no public toilets exist at this park.
