Annual Unlimited Theme Park Tickets – for Locals
Living local to the theme parks on the Gold Coast does have its benefits. Not only do you not have to hop on a plane to visit, but you can just pop in for a few hours whenever you feel like it. And the best bit – to encourage locals to visit the theme parks, especially in the โoff-seasonโ, theme parks offer special deals just for locals!
Each theme park may have various rules on who is considered โlocalโ and what sort of documentation you have to provide to prove this, but as a general rule:
- You must be living in Queensland (postcodes 4000 โ 4999) or Northern NSW (postcodes 2450 โ 2490)
- Be able to provide valid photo ID showing your โlocalโ address
All Worlds Annual Pass (Locals)
This annual pass has all the same wonderful inclusions as the standard All Worlds Annual Pass, with the main difference being the heavily discounted price for locals, and a great renewal price when your original pass expires. Inclusions for this annual pass include:

This one is probably our favourite discount Dreamworld ticket offers, as for only a few dollars more you can experience a full 12 months of Dreamworld fun as well as access to the SkyPoint Observation Deck and WhiteWater World. Inclusions for this annual pass include:

Dreamworld Annual Pass
If you only want to visit Dreamworld, you are able to purchase a Dreamworld Annual Pass, though keep in mind, you wonโt receive all the offerings of the other annual passes. For an extra $20 or so you can usually upgrade to the โAll Worldsโ annual pass, so consider this when purchasing. It may work out cheaper in the long run. Inclusions for this annual pass include:

If you are a member of any motoring associations such asย RACQ, RACV, NRMA etc then make sure you head online to their websites to see if they offer discounted tickets to the theme parks.

Experience Oz is another online store that often sell discounted theme park tickets. With a range of different passes available, all promising to be at least 10% less than what you pay at the gate, it is worth jumping online and seeing what they are offering first. See the latest offering here.
Scoupon/Groupon
Online favourites when it comes to hunting down a good deal,ย Scouponย andย Groupon regularly have amazing deals come up for cheap theme park tickets.
They tend to do their deals in cycles, so if there isnโt one listed at the moment, be patient, as chances are another one will be listed on their site again soon. By downloading their apps on your phone, you can keep a closer eye on when they do pop up too.
Entertainment Book
The Entertainment Book is now available in an easy online membership for a price that brings you a wealth of amazing discount vouchers, deals and cheap tickets.
Although you have to outlay initial membership cost on top of your ticket prices, if you love to eat out, go to movies, or have any fun at all, then chances are you will make that money back after only a month!
Costco
If you are a member of Costco you can usually grab discounted passes for the various theme parks at your local Costco store. There is even a Costco located in Coomera, on the Gold Coast.
