Tivoli Park Playground
At Tivoli Park Brisbane’s littlest kids will be entertained by a specific toddler fort and play area built low to the ground. Here, little ones can climb, slide, and interact with the sensory game panels without fear of falling. The pathways running through the park are also suitable for learning to ride a balance bike or scooter.
Parents can scan the QR code along the way and explore the activities on the Covella Discovery Trail; this stop is all about dance.
Preschoolers and young children will delight in the twin tunnels built into a hillside. They can race each other over the hill and through the tunnels to the generous flying fox, where they whoosh along. A flying-saucer-shaped spinner is always a popular piece of equipment. The next stop on the play adventure would be the five-way swings, where there is space for everyone to swing together.
For older children, Tivoli Park offers a rope climbing pyramid with a raised net leading to a slide. This pyramid provides a climbing challenge and is a great place to escape from younger siblings. There is also the four-square court, which leads to the generous kickabout space. Here, the multipurpose goals lead to hours of games. Soccer, rugby, and AFL can all be played in this wide grassed area.
Imagination Factor at Tivoli Park
The hillside tunnel at Tivoli Park can become an enchanted passageway, inspiring adventures where Brisbane Kids can become space explorers or treasure hunters or enter a mythical land like the wardrobe that takes the children to Narnia. Similarly, the flying fox can be an escape route across a crocodile-infested swamp, and the rope pyramid is a treehouse high in the rainforest canopy.
Accessibility at Tivoli Park
Tivoli Park is primarily flat, with paths connecting the different areas. Shade sails cover some of the equipment.

What we thought of Tivoli Park
We thought Tivoli Park is a delightful place for local families. With its generous kickabout space, families can enjoy a game of soccer or handball or explore the playground with little ones. We especially liked how Covella is designed so families can walk or ride between the various playgrounds. The council adding toilets to the circuit would improve the accessibility for families.
How to get here
