I just love Ooniverse cafe on Hawthorne road. I only wish I had gone earlier. The place is loaded with activities for my child while I can have a coffee, relax but also keep an eye on him. It’s also secure so I’m not afraid that he will run off (and he is a runner!). My son loves the blow up animal balloon which is given every visit. Nicky (the owner) is lovely, fun and makes great coffee. I know many places say “relax while your child plays” but this has been the only place that I can actually do that.

The Bush Pantry Cafe in Capalaba is a lovely cafe and very kid friendly. They have a large outdoor deck and seating area with lovely bushland views and they have a kids play corner and loads of space for prams and big groups. They also support employment of people with disability so a great cafe to get behind. They are only open weekdays though.
