  • AboutBrisbane Kids Creative was created by me! Ngaire Stirling. I wont pretend to talk in the third person about myself, instead let me tell you a bit about me and how 110.232.142.129/~brisba22 came about. At the time the domain name 110.232.142.129/~brisba22 came up for purchase I was a stay at home mum in the middle of a degree centred around journalism and PR. a couple of years earlier I had been contemplating returning to my previous career in marketing management and for a while I even tried. 3 months into a new role and it was clear that I had no passion for my old life and to make the decision to quit easier, my almost 2 year old at the time was not coping with childcare. So, as a family we made the decision for me to return to becoming a stay at home mum. About 1 years later or so.. 110.232.142.129/~brisba22 came up for sale. My friends had often commented on my ability to know exactly what was happening in Brisbane for kids. I had my son enrolled in some awesome activities and we often visited some great destinations. I loved finding fun things for us to doโ€ฆ

Last updated: September 9, 2024

The Triple P Positive Parenting Program has been working with parents for decades to help them gain skills and techniques to foster a healthy and loving family dynamic.

Not only offering support for new parents, the program has recently created an online course designed to help recently separated or divorced families navigate the pivotal transition with their children more confidently.

Aiming to reduce negative impacts while ensuring kids feel supported and secure, the new Triple P Family Transitions Online Course looks to be a valuable tool for families trying to navigate this change as smoothly as possible.

About Triple P – Positive Parenting Program

Created with the aim of providing parents with the skills, knowledge and techniques to confidently raise their children in a healthy and loving family dynamic, the program is based on over 35 years of research with proven success worldwide.

The online parenting program teaches parents how to navigate through, and even prevent, emotional and behavioural problems in children and adolescents.

Providing strategies to deal with conflict and parent in a more gentle and effective manner, the main aims of the program are to:

  • Build a stronger and more positive family dynamic
  • Encourage consistently good behaviour in your child
  • Effectively manage problem behaviour with confidence
  • Predict potentially difficult situations and navigate your child successfully through them
  • Build the best possible relationship with your child
  • Learn to look after your own emotional needs as a parent

Triple P is ranked by the United Nations as the worldโ€™s most extensively researched parenting program in the world and is backed by four decades of ongoing research.

Triple P – Family Transitions Online Course

The team behind Triple P understand parenting can be challenging at any time, however, one of the hardest periods to navigate with children is when parents separate or divorce.

An upheaval of what they previously considered their “normal”, this period of time can be fraught with concern, worry, anxiety, and stress for both parents and children.

โ€œStatistics show that almost half of Australian divorces involve children under 18. The research shows divorce itself isn’t harmful to children. It’s how parents and carers manage the transition through separation and divorce that has the potential to negatively impact children.” Dr Helen Stallman, a clinical psychologist and co-author of Family Transitions Triple P.

The Triple P Family Transitions online program has been created with this in mind.

University developed and based on extensive research with parents going through this change, the course offers proven tips and strategies which assist everyone to cope and adjust well during this time.

What is in the Family Transitions online course?
