Not a huge playground, but fenced none the less, Sir John Chandler Park at Indooroopilly features a pirate ship themed fort complete with sails, a cannon, binoculars and a hammock to watch the ocean pass you by. Oriel Park in Ascot is a fully fenced playground well shades by trees and shade sails. Neal Macrossan Park
Located in the inner suburb of Paddington, Neal Macrosson Park is one of the OG parks of Brisbane City Council. Situated across from Suncorp Stadium, the playground features a range of different play equipment including climbing nets, wobbly bridges, swings, rockers, and a slide. This play space features a mish mash of unusual play equipment and while we wouldn’t go out of our way to drive here, we do imagine it provides a nice break when heading for a walk along the river. Milton Train Park
Milton Park is a fully fenced playground with a train themed play space. This is another shady playground designed with toddlers in mind with the height of the stairs and ladders aimed to be accessible by little legs.
